"The Decorated Wedding"

What a"Wonderful" experience !!! The wedding reception was a Success!! It was decorated in a "Vintage/Retro" "Antropologie" way... It took Hours and Time... It was very worth it..

We Reused/recycled/refurbished.... We painted and sewed... We also drove up to the Mts.. to gather

Manzanita Branches on a friend's property to use for the Centerpieces.. Stephanie and I worked very hard and each had jobs putting it all together.. We had friends help us and we even had a "Pom/Pom" Tissue Party.

I was able to use my creative skills and make some really fun things.. I made 20 Centerpieces with Manzinita

brances, borrowed jars, cut out lots of flowers of different colors, strung jewels on fishing wire.. I also made the Ruffled curtain out of sheets I found at a Yard sale for 25 cents. Never been used.. I cut them into strips and gathered them together and sewed on the white sheet. I also made the grapevine wreath with the sheets and made flowers out of them. I made other things that are not pictured..

We don't have all the pictures yet.. Here is just a sampling of the day of the decorating.. The finished look will be revealed later when I get the pictures..

It was a great experience and I learned a lot and loved working with Stephanie.. : )
