"August"/Bulletin Board..."Knowledge"

This is the Bulletin Board that I decorate each Month
for my Church.
"August" theme was "Knowledge and to keep Learning".
Around the "Bulletin Board" I gathered the seam binding
on the sewing maching..
I then gathered some black "Tulle" and put it also around the edge of
the bulletin board.
I had a banner up at the top of the" Bulletin Board" with the
month of "August"..
I took it down before taking the picture.. I was
fixing it for "September"
I wil share it later..

I took an old "Children's Book" and tore out some
pages and shaped them in a cone shape and hot glued them.
I used a chipboard shape in the middle that I put book pages on it.
Then I used some Big Chipboard Letters and used Book Pages and
then Distressed the edges with the wonderful "Distress Ink" by The
Wonderful "Tim Holtz"
It is always important to "Read" and continue Learning new things.

I took an Old book and fan the book to stand out.. I Hot
glued the papers together and then distressed the edges
with the Distress ink.. I put a Flower in the center and
a seam binding down the middle with a crystal at the end.
Like a book Mark.
I used my die cut for the flowers and put buttons in the center..
The Letters were raised with some Foam and glued to the
book..

A Flower I made.. I took a part a white flower and added
tulle some leaves and a book page flower in the center
then a button in the middle.. I
glued some lace at the bottom.

I Love to read and Continue Learning
new things.
Hope you are enjoying the start to "Autumn"..
More to come... Have a great night.

Seriously love your boards, this months is amazing once again. Please tell me you did not throw away the book things from last months board, they would make beautiful decor, you could even put them in a shadow box and hang them near a book shelf.

Oh my goodness, I had no idea you were the creative bulletin board girl! I have never seen such creativeness with the bulletin board. I didn't know we were allowed to have to much fun with it. haha. I do think our side for 3rd ward is looking really good too though, the creativeness is rubbing off. I look forward to checking it out each month!
