JOB SEARCH!!!

Yeah.. ok.. I have to admit.. I will be soon joining the work force..
who'd have thought.. Yet, sometimes we find ourselves in new situations and changes
that are beyond our control.. I have not worked in over 13 years.. I did work in the Medical
field from 1981-1995... I remember the day my Husband, Kevin said.. "No more working
for you.. We need you here at home and this is where you should be.".. I was very happy,
estatic at that.. I wanted to be a stay at home Mom.. It was hard to balance Home and Work.
I had 5 kids under 12 at the time.. Can you get the picture? I needed to be there!!!
I have loved being at home.. I feel I have reaped the most benefits at home.. I have been my own boss, got up when I want-have lunch when I want.. Really just make my own hours etc.
I know the Lord has blessed my life and the lives of my Children because I was able to be
at home with them.. Now 3 children have left the nest and now I have Jenni a Jr. in High
School, Ryan 8th grade and Kenny in 5th grade.. Today in Church we talked about "Faith"..
Well, I am trying to exercise great faith in getting a job.. I know, the Lord will not hand me
a job.. I have to do my part.. I do not have a college degree which I really encourage all my
kids to get.. I feel so unprepared and so under qualified.. Oh yeah.. I am a hard worker and
I will give my all but, that doesn't necessarily get you into the working world.. I wish I could
pick that certain job that I could use my talents and abilities.. probably in the Arts or Decorating or home.. Afterall, that is pretty much all I know.. Well, I know it will work out in the end.. I
have a positive outlook on life and feel really blessed.. I just need a few extra prayers!!!
Somethings in life you can prepare yourself for what lies ahead and sometimes things happen for a reason. In the end you make the most of it, and know all will work for your good.. #1 CHANGE: JOB....

I know you can do it! I know you can! I am thinking this is an amazing new chapter in your journal. It may be challenging, but it might also be something very exciting and will add a whole new dimension to Caleen - and we already love you the way you are. Just think.....a Caleen with more experiences - we'll love that and wherever you go, you will influence and help others for good. I know I am not alone in thinking that great things are coming your way!

I am praying you get a dream job, something you love and want to get up for everyday. I don't believe anyone should have to go somewhere they are miserable everyday. I have been there, but things got better for me when I decided to bloom where I was planted !!! I love you and know you will do a great job and anyone who hires you is going to be grateful they did !! Love you R

Whom ever gets you an an employee will be the blessed one...I know that the Lord will lead you to the place where you will grow and be able to help others as well as yourself. You have a wonderful testimony Caleen, and a personality that draws others to you. This is an exciting, albeit challenging time...I loved Kim's quotes...just think of the gifts you will get and be able to give. If I can help you...the Fairy is ready!!!!

You are in my prayers as well, and I too know whoever hires you will never want to let you go! I too must go back to work in February and I am not wanting to, but all of Kim's quotes are helping me! Thanks Kim! And don't worry Caleen, you have great faith and it will all work out like it should. Bless you my friend...

Don't sell yourself short, as I know you have enhanced many of your inner strengths by being home with your children. One of which is faith. You are also very talented. You are a much wiser, compassionate, talented person then you were years ago, and employers will see that in you.

Wow, big changes up ahead for you. My children are now adults and I'm in the midst of studying for my degree in French so that I can teach high school. Life doesn't end when our kids grow up - God still has purpose and plan for us.

Thank you for the wonderful swap package. It arrived last week. I posted the photos on my blog. All the items were just wonderful! All those vintage treasures I've tucked away to use next year. The quilted stocking was especially sweet. Thank you so very much.

Best wishes in your job search.
