"OH, WHAT DO YOU DO IN THE SUMMERTIME"?!!!

When you look outside you see NO hills, or Mountains.. The air is filled with
smoke. We are being affected by the fires that are burning in Mariposa, Ca..
It is about 1 1/2 hr. away from our home.. It is not healthy for anyone with
asthma or allergies.. Our Valley gets hot in the summer here.. It can be between
90- 110 degrees.. It hasn't been very fun to go outside.. I am grateful we don't
have to deal with the fires in our area. I am still sad that so much land has been
burned. It all started with lighting. I am grateful to the Men and Women that do
their jobs some paid and some volunteered to combat these fires and save what they
can.. Mariposa is a beautiful place.. I hope they contain the fires soon..

Next up, I have been so tired lately... I hurt everywhere.. I went to the Dr. and
my Thyroid is lower than normal.. Probably due to stress.. I hate this thyroid stuff.
It really affects my overall well being. I am grateful though that I can just take a pill and I will eventually feel better.. It could always be worse. I am quite blessed to only have this health problem now in my life.

My Jenni is in Summer School 4 days a week from 8 am to 2 pm.. She is in High School.
Ryan is also in Summer School at Junior High.. I keep teasing them both that they
probably will want to make sure that next summer they don't have to go to Summer
School.. I think they Hate it!! They are missing some of their Summer.. Oh, poor Dears!

Kenny is in the Play "Mulan" with the CMT company... He goes 8-30 TO 11-30 5 Days a week.. He practices downtown about 20 minutes from our home.. He is enjoying it and will put the play on end of July first of August..

We usually do a lot of things in the summer.. It will all have to wait until Mid
July.. Until then, I am trying to feel better, take it easy, watch lots of Tv,
visit blogs, craft when I feel o.k. try to keep the boys happy :) not drive my
Husband crazy !!

Tomorrow is our 27th Wedding Anniversary !! I don't know what we are doing but, we
usually have a good time.. I believe in Marriage.. I believe in Love and Forever and making things work .. NO MATTER WHAT!! I believe God instituted Marriage and will bless it. I have had some hard times in my marriage.. I don't think 2 people from different backgrounds, different families are suppose to be "one" at first.. I think thorough trials and hard times we grow in committment, love and trust. It requires lots of work, patience, unselfishness, unconditional love, respect.. I am thankful
to be married!!
