"Appreciating the "Fruits" of the Earth!"

Generally, appreciation means some blend of thankfulness, admiration, approval, and gratitude. In the financial world, something that "appreciates" grows in value. With the power tool of appreciation, you get the benefit of both perspectives: as you learn to be consistently thankful and approving, your life will grow in value. (Lucy MacDonald.typepad)

I always had fresh fruits and Vegatables as a kid growing up. My Father used a lot of our yard to plant Trees : Oranges, Lemons, guaves, papayas, berries, strawberries, apples.. Vegetables:
Lettuce, Beans, Onions, Squash, peppers, carrots, rhubarb, brocolli, cabbage, tomatoes...
I enjoyed picking from our garden that was always plentiful.. I don't think I really appreciated it then.. Just thought everyone had a garden.. It was lots of work but, the exciting part was the benefit it gave to all of us.

My Father still has a garden and has given our Family lots of fresh produce throughout our life. At times we have had our own garden and my children have enjoyed the Harvest..

I am grateful for the Bounties of the Earth and appreciate the Gifts our Father in Heaven has
given us.. We have a small area but, we are thinking we should do a small garden.. I know it takes work and labor and time yet, the benefits of a Garden our worth it..

Do you have a Garden???? What do you enjoy about it???? Have a great weekend..

Way to go.

Yay! I love having a garden. My pumkins and watermelons are just beginning and it is fun to go out and water them everyday and see how much they have grown since the previous day. I wish I knew how our weeds grew so fast though, and with so little water too!

We have a garden. It is fun to grow your own stuff that tastes so much better than what is at the grocery store! Dave is the gardener I confess. He loves to play in the dirt. :) I like to sit on the patio and watch...

Our garden is giving us beets, summer squash and zucchini, onions and peppers. It has been so wonderful to just pick the vegetables and grill them...yummy!!
