On Saturday Morning, I happened upon a yard sale when I was going to get some piano
music for my Son, Kenny. This weekend all three kids are trying out for Musicals.
Kenny, "Alice in Wonderland". Ryan, "High School Musical 2" and Jenni "Evita". They of course are different ages but, this summer they will keep me busy...
Oh, Back to the "Yard Sale".. anyway... I found some fun treasures.. Some really old
things. The special thing is I had not come prepared with enough money.. My Special
friend "Robin" happened to be there.. She loves "Yard Sales" too.. We laughed when
we saw each other.. When she saw that I wanted the Music Journals and didn't have enough money.. She kindly paid for the 8 Music Journals which were dated 1887... Now, that may seem like a small thing to you...but not to me.. That was a kind and loving friend.. So, "THANK YOU" ROBIN!!!
I got.. some old wallpaper rolls, lots of yummy lace, 3 bird plates, 1 flower plate,
old velvet framed jewelry holder, silver dish, 3 sheets of old music,fabric and 8 beautiful
old music journals dated 1887..
I have a lot to do this week.. Brooke is turning 22 on Saturday so, I am busy putting
things together for her.. Mother's day is Sunday and I want to make some things...
There is callbacks for the Play try outs also.. Now I just need some extra time added to the clock and I will be just fine!! HA!! (I am sure I am forgetting something!) Have a great week!!!!

You have a busy week coming up !! What is so funny is I picked everyone of those items up and thought of you !! When I was there the first time, I had to go get money to buy the stuff I wanted to!! So it was serendipitous that when I came back you were there too !! And I so did nothing by giving you the money, especially since you came and gave it back to me by that afternoon !! Your life sounds like mine....all the practices, rehearsals, and shows. There is never enough of the Mom. Your finds are amazing. I wish I lived in your neck of the woods. So much loveliness. I think the wall paper is my favorite!
Where in the world do you find these fabulous garage sales? Like in the Fig Garden area??
